Whisper of the Nightingale is the one of the best novel(s?) that I've ever read. The English isn't the best, but it's still amazing. I started reading it in November and have been hooked since. I came across Whisper of the Nightingale in a thread on Novel Updates about fan fiction. I wanted to see if I could find something good to read, so I checked it out. I clicked on several - maybe all- of the links on the forum and read the synopsis for all of them. I read WotN's synopsis and got interested. After reading several chapters, I fell in love with it. I'm always left waiting, hungry for more chapters. I can't wait for the next chapter to come! 8(^W^)8 I hope that more people check it out because its super awesome. It deserves some more attention from other people..

I LOVE STUDIO GHIBLI, THEIR MOVIES, AND HAYAO MIYAZAKI AS WELL AS JOE HISAISHI.
I believe that their movies are incredible, especially the ones made by Hayao Miyazaki. I like the music that Joe Hisaishi composed for Miyazaki's Ghibli movies. I am a big fan of Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki. I hope to be able to watch all of the movies soon. (^w^) Miracle in Cell No. 7Miracle in Cell No. 7 is a very touching movie. I'd like to say that it's more heartbreaking than The Fault in Our Stars, however, I have never watched The Fault in Our Stars before. Nevertheless, Miracle in Cell No. 7 is a tearjerker is full of comedic scenes as well as scenes that will move you.
Humility Humility can make our lives better. When humble people are forced to make a difficult decision, “[They] have a habit of thinking about their values” (Holmes 2). By looking at our moral values when making a decision, we are able to make a decision that we stand by. Humility can help us make a decision we won’t regret. According to Mike Austin, a professor of philosophy at Eastern Kentucky University, “With humility … you’re more capable of waiting for the peaks of your life to come – and you’re grateful when they do” (Holmes 2). Humility makes us more patient. This helps us wait for the favorable opportunities that may come. Humility also makes us thankful for these opportunities because a humble person has an outward focus, meaning that he puts others before himself. With this outward focus, we are not even thinking about our own happiness so when these favorable moments come we are thankful for them. Humility can help us go through our lives with a feeling of satisfaction and happiness. Source:
Holmes, Lindsay. "7 Ways To Tell If You're A Truly Humble Person." The Huffington Post. TheHuffingtonPost.com, 17 July 2014. Jack Stamp, a band director, says that band isn’t easy. One of the reasons is that music requires us to use both sides of our brain. Reading music is like reading a foreign language; music isn’t written in a language that we are use in our daily live. Plus, we do math in our heads while reading music. Each note has their own special significance because they represent the number of beats we’re playing at that moment. Stamp also said that music demands perfection. The reason for this is that if you don’t put all of your effort into your performance, the performance would sound unappealing. Playing an instrument in a band requires perfection because that’s the only way for the performance to sound good. Music is difficult and asks us to do more than we would for something like academics.
Sean Vu Sean Vu is a charismatic and friendly person. When he first came to my class in fifth grade, he was able to immediately become friends with me as well as my other classmates. He is always full of energy and never gets fat despite the fact that he eats junk food for lunch. An example of his endless energy would be when we played basketball in seventh grade in seventh grade. My P.E. teacher made us do man-to-man defense; it was extremely exhausting for me to keep defending him because he would always slip away from me the entire time. Sean is stubborn and can be rebellious at times. Once, he had a fight with his homeroom teacher for bringing such unhealthy food. He defied her until the very end. He also played nasty yet friendly games with my friend Teresa and I. In fifth grade, he made it a sport to try and take my pen from me. The game ended when I tried to tell on him to our homeroom teacher, though. In addition, in seventh grade, he also made a “game” with Teresa where they “booty-bumped” each other. This “game” was more like a continuous cycle of the two of them getting back at each other for “booty-bumping” each other. Sean was also overly familiar sometimes. He would give us hugs which would occasionally made me feel uncomfortable. This gave him a somewhat unfavorable reputation at some point. However, Sean Vu is an overall a good-natured person.
Tyler Rose Tyler Rose is a nice and likeable high school student that I met when I had volunteered at an elementary school. He has a love for coffee and is spectacular at making origami. He had spent his childhood making origami resulting in his adroitness at making origami. Ty uses this ability to get along with kids. He is able to create almost anything ranging from simple ducks to complex airplanes to three-headed dragons that can flap its wings. Due to his stunning skill at making origami, he somewhat earned the respect of the kids. This respect assisted him in resolving tiny disputes between the kids. Ty is fun, charismatic, and engaging which helps him, in a way, when he plays with the little kids. This also helps him get along with the people around him. Ty’s the type of person that most people can become friends with. At times, he was absolutely hilarious. For example, when we were eating chips and salsa with the others in the teacher’s lounge, a fight over the chips suddenly erupted; it later came down to my sister, who was assigned to help the same class as me, and Ty. It was an epic fight between him and my sister; we later named it “Chip Battle 2014.” The fight was intense and hilarious because they were wrestling over a bag of tortilla chips. All in all, Tyler Rose is a remarkable person that I had met during the summer.
